Toyota might have been extremely vocal about not putting all of its eggs in the electric basket, but that hasn’t stopped it becoming the automaker with one of the biggest electrified lineups on the market. Regular hybrids, plug-in hybrids, EVs, and even hydrogen fuel-cell cars, Toyota has them all. And when gas prices are higher than they have been in several years, the automaker is seeing the benefits of its hybrid and electrified lineup. But among the automaker’s winners for the 2026 sales year, a surprising sedan has doubled its sales volume.
