It doesn’t matter how many times we hear the phrase “EVs are the future,” there will never be a true replacement for a combustion engine in the minds of many enthusiasts, the team here at CarBuzz included. So, while celebrating Engine Week – our tribute to all things combustion – we asked the team which engines they thought should be nominated for the best of all time, on a completely subjective basis, based on personal experience, emotional attachment, and whatever other criteria they wanted to use. Each entry below includes their justification for why that engine is one of the best.
