Enter Now, Payout Next Year
The National Corvette Museum is running a sweepstakes where you can win a brand-new (for now) Corvette ZR1 Coupe 3LZ. The ZR1 is the ultimate ICE C8-generation Corvette that you can get right now, and winning one is a dream come true.
However, even the winner might have to keep dreaming at least until next year. While you can already start logging your entries, the sweepstakes officially closes on June 30, 2027, with the winner to be selected on July 13, 2027, which means that not only do you have to wait a year for the draw, but the prize also doesn’t get any newer.

While it’s set to be last year’s model next year, the prize is still nothing short of awesome. It comes with a 5.5-liter LT7 V8 engine with twin turbochargers, producing 1,064 horsepower and 828 ft-lbs of torque, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. As a C8, the engine sits in the middle, creating an ideal weight balance. It goes from 0 to 60 in 2.3 seconds and has a top speed of 233 miles per hour.
It’s mighty impressive, perhaps even by next year’s standards, and it’s also a landmark model for the C8 generation and Corvette as a whole. However, by the time the sweepstakes closes, Corvette will probably already be well into producing its 2027 model year.
Still, it’s still a prize worth winning. The National Corvette Museum’s prize is a 3LZ, which means that the equipment and amenities in this ZR1 are far from basic. It’s a great spec to have, especially since it will come with the most powerful production Corvette so far. On top of that, the Museum is also bundling in a National Corvette Museum Delivery Experience in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and the car will also come with a one-year museum membership and VIP tour.

How to Join
From August 31, 2026, to June 30, 2027, we welcome entries. The cost is free, and donations are appreciated but optional. For free entries, the Museum has eligibility requirements and other restrictions you must follow. No donation is necessary to win the prize, so imagine entering this sweepstakes event and driving home a ZR1 for the price of an application.
You can visit the National Corvette Museum Foundation’s sweepstakes page for more details. Eligibility requirements apply, and while a donation won’t guarantee a win, it improves your chances because you can get up to 100,000 entries with enough donations to the museum.
