Volvo Cars will have a new leader next year, as the company’s board has approved the transition of power between existing CEO Håkan Samuelsson and newcomer Klaus Zellmer, who will take over “no later than October 1, 2027.” Zellmer will bring an impressive CV to his tenure at Volvo, including stints at Volkswagen, Škoda, and Porsche (where he helped launch the Macan).
