Lotus has grand plans for its future. The company held an earnings call this week that revealed strong sales compared to last year – largely driven on higher demand for the Eletre in China and Europe – but it also revealed something for us enthusiasts to look forward to. The Type 135, widely expected to be called the Esprit when it debuts within the next two years, will offer not only a hybridized, turbocharged V8 but also another electrified trim with a V6 engine.
