The micro city car company Smart is now calling itself “the contemporary premium EV brand” as it moves into a new era, starting with the Smart Concept #2. Its premiere will come in Paris, France, in October, but its debut took place at Smart’s Global Brand Event 2026 in Beijing. We’re not sure what the difference is, but the gold trim and white tires certainly have our interest. It’s an intriguing design direction for the city car, and it joins a new (and much larger) premium fastback sedan as Smart looks to expand its business.
