If you’re shopping around for a new EV pickup truck, it’s pretty obvious right from the get-go that the prices of these fancy new battery-electric trucks don’t really make a ton of sense, and for a lot of cost-conscious buyers, they’re so, so far detached from reality. The Tesla Cybertruck, GMC Hummer Pickup, GMC Sierra EV, Chevrolet Silverado EV, and the Rivian R1T – all of these are basically unobtanium for the average Jane and Joe, given how expensive they are, but what about the new Slate Truck vs Ford Fathom?
