Scout Motors has much to do before its battery-electric Traveler SUV and Terra pickup hit American roads. Finishing the $2 billion assembly plant in Blythewood, South Carolina, would be the top priority. Once the body shop and paint shop are ready, and the state finishes the dedicated highway access, pre-series production will begin, followed by assembly of salable units, likely in 2028.
