One of the oldest, simplest ways for automakers to add a little variation and style to a model line is with the black trim package. Slap a bit of gloss black paint on trim pieces and badges, give it a cool name, and call it a day. Nissan used to call this trim level “Midnight,” but it’s now using the new name of “Dark Armor,” and the Murano is one of the first to get the freshly named trim level.
