Someone on the hiring committee at Lucid Motors has taken their briefing for finding a new CEO a little too literally. The job posting, in our imaginations, said that Lucid needed a new CEO who could help elevate the business and move it forward in the right direction. So they’ve hired the new CEO from a company that makes… elevators and escalators. Hey, it makes more sense than when Ford hired a CEO from a company that made office furniture, right?
