Ask a veteran police officer about hairy times behind the wheel, and stories will flow about high-speed chases, unruly occupants, or narrowly avoiding death on the highway when a squad car gets plowed by another driver not paying attention, or intoxicated. So yeah, police cars matter to officers. They really matter.
