It took all of two days from Tesla starting a limited Robotaxi service in Texas to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reviewing online videos of a Robotaxi allegedly using the wrong lane and of speeding by another driverless vehicle. That’s not the last scrutiny Tesla Cybercab faced, but now here in October, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has opened a defect investigation into claims that Tesla Robotaxis are exceeding posted speed limits in active school zones.
