Stellantis’s Brampton Assembly Plant in Ontario was churning out the Dodge Challenger and previous-generation Dodge Charger muscle cars in six-figure volumes just a few short years ago, but it’s been idle since those models bowed out of production at the end of 2023. The automaker had been gearing up to retool the site to build a new Jeep starting this year, but a changing regulatory environment upended that plan.
