2027 Toyota Camry Still Starts Under $30,000 With Hybrid Power

Toyota has announced 2027 model-year pricing for the Camry, America’s best-selling sedan. The current Camry generation was introduced for the 2025 model year with a hybrid-only powertrain lineup, the first time that every Camry was electrified. That change in no way dented confidence in the sedan, which has continued outselling rivals like the Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata. Prices have crept up only marginally for 2027, so the Camry is still very much a high-value buy in its segment.

Base Camry Stays Under $30,000

Every Toyota Camry trim has received a modest $100 price bump for 2027. Here’s how much the sedan will cost you.

No major changes are expected for the sedan, which remains available with all-wheel drive for an extra $1,525. If you get a front-wheel-drive model, the combination of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor gets you 225 horsepower. All-wheel-drive models produce 232 hp, but there’s no significant increase in performance. The most efficient model is the base LE with FWD, which has EPA-rated figures of 52/49/51 mpg city/highway/combined. The XSE with AWD is the least efficient, getting 43/43/43 mpg.

The price of the Camry is still well below the Honda Accord Hybrid, which starts at $33,795 for the 2026 model year. Honda does, however, sell a cheaper non-hybrid Accord for less than $30k.

Which Camry Trim Should You Buy?

The entry-level Camry LE looks a bit plain, while the top trims are more expensive than the Camry needs to be. Our recommended trim choice is the SE. Not only does it look less basic than the LE, but it adds some nicer interior materials that give the cabin a lift.

Larger 18-inch alloys on the SE replace the 16-inch items on the base model. It also gets a single exhaust with dual chrome tips, a black sport mesh grille, a black rear lower diffuser, and a color-keyed rear spoiler. It’s not overdone, but these extras bring the edgy design to life.

Inside, the SE adds a leather-trimmed shift knob, aluminum sport pedals, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and SofTex upholstery in place of the LE’s fabric seats. Unless Toyota makes some changes for 2027, the Camry SE should keep its seven-inch digital gauge cluster and eight-inch touchscreen. These displays are on the small side by modern standards, but functionality is good.

The Camry is already the best-selling Toyota in 2026 due to consistent RAV4 supply issues, and with the 2027 model’s small price increase, we can’t see anything denting demand for the sedan.
