When it comes to drifting, there are a few engines you’ll see especially frequently. You’ve got six-cylinder Nissan RB- and Toyota JZ-series engines. Ford Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engines pop up, as do BMW six-cylinders. And, of course, there’s no end to the GM LS V8s. But drifter and YouTuber Adam LZ has different plans for his latest drift car build, a carbon-kevlar-bodied BMW M2. He has enlisted the help of Steve Morris engines in Michigan to build a GM-based V8. Instead of one of the small-block GM engines, though, they’re working on a big-block engine, and Adam’s latest video takes place at the shop to show where it was built and what it can do.
