Volkswagen gave us our first look at what an electric GTI could look like with its ID.GTI concept in 2023. It was based on the ID.2 concept, which had already been confirmed to be a preview of a production model. Since then, we’ve been anxiously awaiting details about what could be VW’s first GTI EV. With these new spy photos, we’ve finally got some details about the car. It should have some classic GTI visual upgrades, plus better braking hardware than we expected.
