Toyota’s Updated EV Lineup Gets Even More Appealing
For 2026, the Toyota bZ gets a round of updates that actually move the needle. Range, refinement, and equipment all see improvements, and the price drops compared to the outgoing model. On paper, that already puts it in a better spot within Toyota’s still-limited EV lineup.
But Toyota isn’t stopping there. According to CarsDirect, the Japanese automaker is now stacking on some serious incentives for the 2026 bZ, C-HR, and bZ Woodland to get more buyers in the door.
These deals are available in most regions and apply to both purchase and lease programs. However, the offers are currently set to expire at the end of March, so buyers have a limited window to take advantage.

Purchase Incentives Bring Lower Financing Costs
If you’re looking to buy instead of lease, Toyota is making it easier to get into one of its EVs. There’s a $5,000 cash incentive that comes right off the sticker price, and it applies to the bZ, C-HR, and bZ Woodland.
There’s also 0% APR financing for up to 72 months, plus a $3,500 bonus if you go that route. That combo cuts borrowing costs way below what you’d usually see from a bank or credit union.
These incentives make a real difference in monthly payments. Earlier this year, the entry-level C-HR was listed at about $686 a month for a 72-month loan at around 9% APR. With the new deals, that drops to about $485 a month – a big cut that puts it within reach for more buyers.
The bigger bZ Woodland also gets a price break, with payments dropping to about $601 a month. Actual numbers will depend on your region and dealer, but these incentives put Toyota’s EVs right in the mix with other electric crossovers.
Better Deals When Leasing
Lease shoppers may find even larger incentives. Toyota is currently offering $7,000 in lease cash for the 2026 bZ, C-HR, and bZ Woodland. This incentive increased from $6,500 last month and is paired with lease rates that are effectively equivalent to 0% APR.
In Southern California, for example, the Toyota bZ XLE is leasing for $289 per month for 36 months with $3,999 due at signing. Factoring in upfront costs, the effective monthly cost is about $400.
Interestingly, CarsDirect noted that the Subaru Solterra – which shares its platform with the bZ – can sometimes be cheaper to lease in certain areas, even though its MSRP is higher.
It is not yet clear whether Toyota will extend or expand these incentives next month. However, for buyers already considering a Toyota EV, the current discounts are significant. With the offers set to expire at the end of March, shoppers interested in these deals may want to act soon.
