Earlier this year, Dodge made the announcement many had been dreaming about: the HEMI V8 will be making a comeback. It all started late last year when Carlos Tavares stepped down as CEO of Stellantis amid rumors that many at the company weren’t thrilled with the direction the company was heading in. More executive changes took place, with one of the biggest being the return of the V8-whisperer Tim Kuniskis to head up Ram North America once again. Soon after, the HEMI returned to the RAM 1500, plans are (likely) in the works to return it to the Dodge Charger, and the Dodge Durango gave up its V6 in a bid for all-V8 glory.
