The Ford Escort RS Cosworth had a good five-year run from 1992 to 1996, with 7,145 units having been produced, after the car had initially been developed for the World Rally Championship. If you live in the US, there’s a good chance you’ve never heard of it, though, as the car never left Europe. At least, it never officially left Europe, and it’s a damn shame because this wild little hot hatch was punching well above its weight class.
