By and large, designers usually craft homages to vintage models. The limited-run 2001 Toyota Origin, which celebrated 100 million Toyotas built in Japan, was special for several reasons, not the least of which being that it looks like it rolled right off the lot of a Toyopet showroom in 1955 and came through a time portal into the early 2000s.
