Stellantis published a technical breakdown of its all-new Hurricane 4 turbocharged engine, and it’s a sweet unit. Debuting in the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the powerplant stacks up nicely when compared to the best turbocharged four-cylinder engines the industry has to offer. The mill is also proudly American, with the casting process taking place in Indiana and final assembly in Michigan. However, America has always been associated with the V8, and that got us thinking about one possible future for this engine.
