Ford Mustang sales have been brutal. The Blue Oval sold just 44,003 units of its pony car in 2024. It was the third consecutive year the Mustang sold under 50,000 units, a stark contrast to the 100,000-plus units Ford was selling per year about 10 years ago. The best-selling Mustang-branded vehicle in 2024 and Q1 of 2025 – despite Ford having a new-generation Mustang at dealers – was the Mustang Mach-E electric crossover.
