The new 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is the fastest the nameplate has ever been, both in terms of acceleration and outright speed. General Motors even goes so far as to claim it’s the world’s fastest car under $1 million, hitting a top speed of 233 mph on a record run with GM President Mark Reuss behind the wheel a few months ago. But the car has to be set up in a specific way, and you have to be in the proper gear, which isn’t top gear, it turns out.
