Supercharged Silverado ZR2 Is Finally A Raptor And TRX Rival, But It Doesn’t Come From Chevrolet

When it comes to off-road performance, Chevrolet’s Silverado 1500 ZR2 is missing one very important thing. Up against the likes of Ford’s F-150 Raptor R and the Ram 1500 SRT TRX, it’s down by several hundred horsepower. Not anymore, though. Hennessey has just announced its take on the ZR2, the Hennessey Goliath 700 ZR2. It fits a twin-screw blower to the 6.2-liter V8 to take horsepower to a level that can almost match Ford.
