The early 2000s were a performance renaissance for Pontiac that would ultimately end with the brand’s demise, but not before some killer, high-performance vehicles rolled off its factory floors. One such model was the Pontiac Grand Prix, a nameplate with a history that stretched all the way back to the early 1960s. It was a vehicle known for big style and big performance, and the brand promised more of each with the introduction of the Grand Prix GXP in 2005.
