Mercedes-AMG‘s home is Affalterbach, Germany. The town is so important to the company that the left side of its roundel emblem shows the town’s coat of arms, while the right side displays a valve, spring, and camshaft lobe. In addition to building engines, the performance division runs its management and marketing operations from the facilities there. The site employs about 2,600 people.
