If you want to get down to the nuts and bolts of the new Ford F-150 Lobo, you could essentially build one yourself by putting a V8 engine in an STX. That is, if we’re talking about performance trucks as a pure numbers game. You’re getting the same V8, the same torque and horsepower, the same transmission, the same all-wheel-drive performance as you would in an eight-cylinder STX. But, it’s still not exactly the same truck, and we don’t just mean because the Lobo looks cooler (though the Lobo does look much cooler than a standard Ford F-150 STX).
