- Hyundai has shared more revealing teasers of the upcoming Ioniq 6 N.
- The electric performance sedan will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
- It is expected to offer up to 641 hp, combined with an aggressive chassis setup.
The Ioniq 5 N has proven that Hyundai can build an exciting hot hatch with electric power, setting the tone for the future. The next zero-emission model from the brand’s performance division will be the Ioniq 6 N, which has now been confirmed to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 10.
The Ioniq 6 N has been under development for a few years, as proven by the 2022 Hyundai RN22e concept and the various spy shots. However, the first official teaser appeared on April 2025, together with the debut of the facelifted version. Today, the company shared more teasers of the performance EV, highlighting its sporty bits.

From certain angles, the Ioniq 6 N might look similar to the lesser N Line, adopting the split headlight arrangement of the facelift and sporty bumpers. However, the rear end features a large rear wing, which is positioned above the integrated ducktail spoiler.
A closer look reveals that the car features wider front and rear fenders, and more aggressive inserts on the bumpers. It will also ride on new set of lightweight alloy wheels shod in performance tires. The example in the shadowy teasers is painted in the Performance Blue shade, combined with the signature red accents of Hyundai N.

More important changes are expected under the skin. Hyundai says that the development of the model was centered around three pillars: Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sports Car.
The Ioniq 6 N is expected to inherit the dual electric motor setup of the Ioniq 5 N. The latter is good for 601 hp (448 kW / 609 PS), or up to 641 hp (478 kW / 650 PS) when the N Grin Boost mode is engaged. Energy will most likely be stored in an 84 kWh battery pack, as with the rest of the lineup.

Besides the extra power, the N-branded EV will benefit from chassis tweaks, including a revised adaptive suspension, beefier brakes, and a more direct steering. It will also inherit a bunch of N-specific electronics such as the simulated dual-clutch automatic gearbox and the artificial sounds, focused on improving the driving experience.
Thanks to its lower stance and more aerodynamic design, the Ioniq 6 N could deliver even greater performance than the Ioniq 5 N. With the hot hatch now two years into its lifecycle, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Hyundai N debut new performance features with its sedan counterpart.
We will learn everything about the newcomer at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, which is scheduled for July 10-13.
