Going over the new options and upgrades available in the 2026 Toyota RAV4, we’re seeing a lot of good stuff. The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) gets an 18-horsepower boost to a total output of up to 320 hp, while the hybrids (HEVs) will deliver up to 236 hp, and Toyota is promising more range and faster charging. But, one option might seem like a bit of a head-scratcher: the hybrid model will be offered in front-wheel drive for the first time.
