The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X just debuted as the quickest, most powerful Corvette ever built, with a staggering 1,250 horsepower. Though the ZR1X includes electrification, like the E-Ray, it still packs a V8 engine behind the driver, specifically a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged unit delivering 1,064 hp on its own. This should please the anti-EV crowd, who balked at the idea of a fully-electric Corvette.
