BMW just loves the Villa d’Este luxury hotel near Lake Como – not for its faultless accommodations and incredible views, mind, but for the Concorso d’Eleganza that happens each May. The automaker has used the Italian event to debut spectacularly design-driven concepts for years, including the 2012 Zagato Coupé, the 2016 2002 Hommage, the 2023 Z4 Concept Touring, and last year’s stunning Concept Skytop. Speaking of, it seems as though BMW is taking liberal inspiration from the targa for the 2025 Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza, recreating it into a sleek, two-seat shooting brake likely based on the 8 Series. Although it’s not the Z3 M Coupe redux some of us were expecting, the 2025 Concept Speedtop is a stunner nonetheless.
