Over the years, there have been many examples of cross-brand collaborations, where manufacturers use the same platform to create distinctly individual cars for each badge. Back in 2000, Audi laid the foundations for a similar exercise, but, in this case, it was to quietly build a predecessor to one of the most stunning vehicles of all time – the 1000-hp Bugatti Veyron. This is the story of the Audi Rosemeyer concept, which looked just as gorgeous as the future supercar, but never made it to production.
