The hot hatchback isn’t exactly a booming segment these days. In the US, there is only one offering with a manual transmission and really only three offerings in total. Even in Europe, where the hot hatch once ruled, key players are fleeing. Ford, once a hot hatch leader, has killed its last, Honda is axing the Civic Type R, and other usual suspects are vanishing.
