Apple CarPlay Will Add Video Streaming Soon, But There’s A Catch

Apple CarPlay debuted back in 2014. Updates haven’t been frequent by tech standards. But facing competition from Google Built-In and proprietary infotainment systems, Apple is working on some serious upgrades. The company unveiled CarPlay Ultra for Aston Martin vehicles in May, which will allow CarPlay to customize the instrument display and control vital vehicle functions. We’ve also seen updates to traditional CarPlay, such as adding more than two rows of icons on large displays.
