One of the big surprises that arrived with the launch of the 2026 Toyota RAV4 is the expansion of its plug-in hybrid offerings. They’re no longer called Prime, but for many buyers, they are the prime model to purchase, offering up to 50 miles of all-electric range. There’s even one version that pairs the plug-in hybrid with front-drive for even more affordability and likely even better range.
