Throughout the entirety of automotive history, carmakers have occasionally come together to form alliances. These collaborative projects have led to some unique models, with some that come to mind being nameplates like the Mitsubishi 3000GT and the Dodge Stealth, both of which were sports coupes that combined engineering and styling from both Mitsubishi and Dodge. Another collaboration worth mentioning was the Subaru/Saab project that resulted in the Saab 9-2X wagon, which was basically a Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon hidden underneath an upscale Saab shell.
