BMW’s plans for its Neue Klasse future are certainly in motion, but it is also creating a disparity within the brand’s lineup until the entire range gets the new exterior, interior, and powertrains. One of the more apparent divides in the lineup is between the 2027 BMW X3 and X5. The X3 continues the previous design language, despite its EV counterpart, the iX3 being the first to receive the Neue Klasse treatment. The X5 is all new for the 2027 model year and comes with a host of engine options, but only one trim is currently available on its website.
