Porsche has put its name on a stroller. The WonderFold x Porsche Stroller Wagon was announced on September 15 in Los Angeles and went on sale in the U.S. on September 24, with China following on September 28 and Europe on November 1. It’s the latest in a long run of Porsche Design products that have little to do with cars.
What You Get

Wonderfold
The base wagon costs $1,999 and is built on WonderFold‘s L Series platform. It seats up to four children on removable reclining benches with five-point harnesses, and carries up to 214.3 pounds. The wagon itself weighs 57.8 pounds, according to retailer Babylist, and measures 53 inches long when open and 25.2 inches long when folded. Porsche’s touches include carbon-fiber-inspired fabric, red brake calipers, a faux-leather handlebar modeled on Porsche’s drive mode dial, and an illuminated Porsche logo projected from the wagon. Only black is offered, and WonderFold calls it a special edition available while supplies last.
The $600 Electric Upgrade
Add the Porsche E-Assist Wheels and the price climbs to $2,599. They provide uphill and downhill assist, electronic braking, multiple driving modes, smoother turning, plus a rechargeable battery that doubles as a phone charger. A rocking mode is meant to settle fussy kids. Neither WonderFold nor its retailers list the motor output, top speed, battery capacity or range, and warranty terms aren’t published either. WonderFold highlights these “Porsche-inspired features” in an attempt to target the brand-conscious young family who wants only the purest luxury experience for their infants.
Porsche Pricing, Stroller Edition
Porsche’s extras have never been cheap. As such, maybe a $2,599 four-seater with motorized wheels looks tame, though it’s still a lot to spend on something a toddler will eventually outgrow. The wagon arrives while Porsche is building fewer cars and trying to make more money. Whether strollers have anything to do with that is another question, but this is hardly the first time Porsche, or any other luxury brand, has ventured into the accessory market via a partnership.
