McLaren has put an official stamp on the end of one of modern automotive history’s finest chapters. The 750S is now taking final orders, and with it comes the start of the conclusion for a supercar platform that has been the very definition of engineering precision and lightweight performance over the last ten years.

One could say the 720S did more than simply put a new car on the market when it was unveiled; it established a lineage. Its combination of a formidable twin-turbo V8 and an unrelenting pursuit of weight reduction set a standard that was hard to beat, whether on the road or in the World Endurance Championship. The 750S, which came along in 2023, was the natural extension of that thinking. Some 30 per cent of its parts are either revised or all new, resulting in a machine that can put down 740 hp yet come in at a mere 2,815 lbs dry.
But time is running out. Production is due to stop in 2027, making this the last chance to put your name to a piece of such specialized history.
Even as McLaren winds down the 750S, there is still no shortage of scope for personalization. MSO has made of the 750S a blank canvas for some of the brand’s most elaborate work, from the 3-7-59 Theme to Project Viva. The same architecture has been the foundation for limited runs like the 200-unit 788HS and the track-bred 765LT. If the goal is to have a truly individual example of a 750S in its final year, working with MSO to configure the vehicle is the way to go.
