Nissan has detailed the new Rogue Hybrid in the US market, positioning it as a direct rival to the Toyota RAV4. The electrified compact SUV comes standard with AWD and dual electric motors, starting from $35,490.
The styling of the Nissan Rogue Hybrid was unveiled back in April through computer-generated images, but we now have access to a full gallery of real-life exterior and interior photos. Its overall silhouette and footprint are carried over from the ICE-powered Rogue, but the bodywork has been completely redesigned.

Nissan now offers three different looks and powertrain technologies for the Rogue in the US market: pure combustion, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid, the latter derived from the Mitsubishi Outlander.
On the Rogue Hybrid, the front end features a wide grille with a honeycomb pattern that continues in the DRLs under the slim LEDs. The profile gains sharp lines on the fenders and doors, while the rear side windows extend toward the rear window, creating a Mount Fuji-inspired shape for the C-pillars.

At the back, we find redesigned taillights connected via an optional LED bar on the sculpted tailgate, and black cladding on the rear bumper. The color palette includes eight shades and two bi-tone options, including the new Horizon Blue Pearl Metallic.

The Rogue Hybrid measures 183.1 in (4,651 mm) long with a 106.5 in (2,705 mm) wheelbase and a ground clearance between 8.4-8.5 in (213–216 mm), depending on the trim.
The five-seater cabin promises to offer “more front headroom and legroom than the Toyota RAV4″ and a 31.1 cubic feet (881 lt) boot. The dashboard comes standard with a digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment, but the flagship trim upgrades to dual 14.3-inch units paired with a 10-speaker Bose Premium Audio system.
Designers added physical climate controls on the center console and 15-watt Qi2 magnetic wireless charging (single or dual). Available features include climate-controlled Nissan Zero Gravity seats, 64-color ambient lighting, and an updated ProPilot ADAS suite with more sophisticated systems like Auto Lane Change, Hands-off Traffic Jam Support, and a 3D HD Around View Monitor with Invisible Hood View.
A Hybrid That Feels More Like Electric
The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is the first model to bring the e-Power technology to the US market. Nissan’s self-charging hybrid setup is already in its third generation and in the case of the Rogue, it has been tailored for the needs of North American buyers.

Under the hood lies a turbo 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with 148 hp (110 kW / 150 PS), which works as a generator and is not connected to the wheels, feeding a 1.67 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Dual electric motors then drive all four wheels, producing a combined 225 hp (168 kW / 228 PS).
The SUV also gets e-Pedal regenerative braking with Smooth Stop technology. Nissan estimates fuel efficiency at 38 MPG combined, which is better than the 32 MPG of the ICE-powered Rogue but worse than the official 42 MPG rating of the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid with AWD.
Pricing and Availability
The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid will reach dealers this fall. The SR grade with the optional Tech Package will be the first to arrive, followed by the entry-level SV, the mid-spec SR, and the flagship Platinum in early 2027.

Prices start from $35,490 for the cheapest SV and climb to $43,490 for the most expensive Platinum. This means the hybrid is $4,300-4,500 more expensive than the equivalent trim of the ICE-powered Rogue.
As for the rival Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, its entry-level AWD-capable version is $2,190 cheaper than the base Nissan Rogue Hybrid SV AWD.
