McLaren’s ‘Mainstream’ Hybrid Might Not Survive Much Longer

When the McLaren Artura finally arrived, it landed as a technological powerhouse powered by McLaren’s first twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 with an electric motor and a 7.4-kilowatt-hour battery. Partly, it was designed around the tightening of government emissions rules, particularly in Europe, and partly to appeal to a more tech-focused customer that still wanted absolutely blistering performance.
