It’s funny how car culture can pivot, so that yesterday’s dud is today’s dream car. The AMC Pacer is perhaps most famous as the vehicle of choice for Garth Algar in Wayne’s World. He called it the Mirthmobile, and the car hosted the movie’s famous headbanging sequence to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
