It was readily apparent earlier this week that the C-suite in Dearborn was fuming when US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy sent a letter urging Ford to sever ties with Chinese battery maker CATL, and to also quicken the pace for ending China production of certain Lincoln models for the US market.
