Even though Jeep has had an EV on the market for three model years now, the2026 Reconfeelslike the brand’s first one. The Wagoneer S, while featuring four driven wheels and a faux seven-slot grille, could have easily been branded a Dodge or a Chrysler. It was made for pavement and luxury. The Recon, though, is designed to do the one true Jeep thing: go off-road. As such, it has a lot riding on it, even more so as its platform-mates, the Wagoneer S and the Dodge Charger Daytona, have not been particularly successful.
