It’s incredibly hard to be a car company right now with regulations, customer demands, and the degree of scrutiny carmakers are subject to. Ford is about to shake up the game though. In 2027, it’s releasing its second-ever electric truck, but while the F-150 Lightning went against some established nameplates, the latest model, called the Fathom, will compete in a totally different category.
