Toyota gave the RAV4 a major update for the 2026 model year. It brought fresh styling, more power, and hybrid efficiency across the whole line. It seemed like the new SUV would breeze into yet another year as America’s best-selling vehicle short of the full Ford F-Series line. Unfortunately for Toyota, the reality has been completely different. Sales have plummeted due to the company not getting production up to speed. This past month showed some improvement, but unless something major changes, the RAV4 is likely to lose its crown.
