Los Angeles Lakers’ star Lebron James just took delivery of a unique Mercedes-Maybach S680, crafted just for him. This luxurious land barge will join James’ extensive car collection, which features everything from exotic hypercars to luxury sedans, SUVs, and even a few classics. Recently revealed on Maybach’s social media, the car is built to reflect the NBA star’s identity with a host of personal touches.

Developed through Mercedes’ MANUFAKTUR customization division, this Maybach is tailored to LeBron’s specific tastes, with a soft cream exterior against a deep blue interior, for a look that is elegant and completely bespoke. This isn’t just a custom Maybach—it’s branding on wheels, with LeBron’s ‘LJ’ monogram replacing Maybach’s own identity. Much of the exterior detailing, interior stitching, and several small touches have been selected by the basketball icon himself.
While other German luxury brands have quietly dropped V12s from their offerings, Mercedes believes there’s still room for them. Offered only on the Maybach S680, the 621-horsepower V12 under the hood may offer the same performance as the V8, but certainly carries more prestige. Outright speed isn’t the point of this car; after all, that massive engine ensures effortless acceleration wrapped in near-silent refinement, while occupants are pampered by an opulent cabin that rivals first-class air travel. While a standard Mercedes-Maybach S680 already commands a price well north of $240,000, making it the most expensive model in the entire lineup, this one-off build is effectively priceless.
LeBron’s Garage
This unique Mercedes-Maybach S680 will join LeBron’s already impressive fleet of cars, which includes a Porsche 918 Spyder, a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, A Mercedes-Benz G-Class, a 1975 Chevrolet Impala, a Hummer EV, and several Ferraris and Rolls-Royces. Maybach have also confirmed that this S680 is one of two cars that have been individually configured by LeBron, with the second one due to be revealed soon, which will be auctioned for charity.
