- GM reboots classic “See the USA in Your Chevrolet” campaign.
- Brooke Lee sings from a Silverado ZR2 atop Castle Rock.
- Corvette, Equinox, Trax, and Traverse also appear in the ad.
Stellantis is the exclusive automotive sponsor of America250, but you’d be hard pressed to tell as Chevrolet is doing a far better job capitalizing on the 250th anniversary of the United States.
After rolling out a dizzying array of special editions, the bowtie brand is launching a series of heritage ads with a modern twist. The first is a remake of “See the USA in Your Chevrolet,” which is now sung by country music star Brooke Lee.

The song originally debuted on The Dinah Shore Show in 1951 and “went on to inspire a series of advertisements honoring the country’s beauty.” This included airlifting an Impala onto Castle Rock in Utah, in both 1964 and 1973, for television and print ads.
That spirit lives on in the new campaign as a 2026 Silverado ZR2 was placed on Castle Rock so Lee could sing from the tailgate. After a brief fly by, the ad shows an assortment of other models including the Corvette, Equinox, Equinox EV, Trax, and Traverse.
Trucks, Tailgates, and Landmarks
These vehicles are seen traveling by iconic landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge and The Gateway Arch in St. Louis. Eagle-eyed observers will also notice Mount Shasta, Redwood National Park, the Florida Keys, and Nashville, Tennessee.
The ad will hit broadcast networks on Friday and will apparently skip the Super Bowl as well as the high fees associated with it. According to Bloomberg, some national 30-second spots for Super Bowl 60 have topped $10 million, a huge jump from the $8 million brands paid just last year. This seems to be a trend this year as Jeep did something similar with Billy Goes to the River.
Despite that common thread, Chevrolet’s Chief Marketing Officer, Steve Majoros, appeared to throw some shade at the Dutch conglomerate as he said, “As brands compete to celebrate our country’s 250th, there are few who can authentically embrace, claim, and honor America’s historical milestones in an inspiring, modern way. Chevy is one of those few.”
