Nissan’s beloved old off-roader, the Xterra, is finally coming back, but it’s still a few years away. That’s a few years too long for at least one Nissan fan. His name is Nick Scherr, and is better known as Nismo Nick. He describes himself as “Nissan’s #1 Fan,” which seems plausible based on his YouTube and Instagram accounts, and he decided to create his idea of a modern and idealized version of the Xterra. It’s called Project X, it’s coming to SEMA at Nissan’s official booth, and it’s a mad mash-up of all sorts of Nissan trucks. We dig it.
