After a new Porsche 911? They start at $127,700 for the model year, and a 911 Turbo could cost you closer to a quarter of a million dollars once your taxes and interest are paid off. How about a gently pre-owned model? Kelley Blue Book puts 992 models from just a few years back in the low six-figure range. A new Porsche Cayenne ranges from around $86,000 to well over $200,000, and the mid-engine 718 goes for a bare minimum of $75,400. In short: Porsche knows that its specialty is making dream cars, and the prices are set accordingly. Some of us spent less on our first house than what Porsche is asking for a new Panamera.
